After I have completed phase 3 and go onto phase 4 will I de able to continue to lose weight slowly without HCC

I have not reached my goal. Can I lose weight after completing phase 3 without HCG.

Hi Deborah - thanks for writing. First of all congratulations on your accomplishments. My apologies but I am not quite clear what you mean by Phase 4, I think you might mean when you return to your normal eating patterns.

First, you might want to think differently before you return to your "normal" eating patterns. You put your weight on by eating that way and I would not want you to gain it back after all of your hard work.

My suggestion would be to stay on Phase 3 and increase your activity if you have additional weight to lose.

There really is no way to say for sure if you will lose weight but if you still have a few pounds to go, staying on Phase 3 for a longer time is really quite healthy for you. You can add oils back into your diet - healthy ones., protein and then lots of fruits and veggies. Stay away from the carbohydrates such as breads, pastas, crackers, chips, etc. If you can increase your activity, that is a great idea too.

Really, you can stay on Phase 3 for the rest of your life if you would like. It is one of the best ways to stay healthy and trim. Though you have to allow yourself to eat more often with smaller meals. Don't think one meal with last you 5-6 hours. Plan to eat smaller portions every 2-3 hours.

A couple of considerations in getting more active. Remember this is coming from someone that thinks exercise is a 4 letter word.

I currently use a Fitbit to help track my activity - it tracks my steps daily so I can set my goal of 10000 steps and it tracks it easily for me. Amazon has number of Fitbits and you can find one to fit your budget. It gives me a goal to shoot for and I can walk the dog, travel through more aisles at the store or just run up and down the steps at home to put things where they belong. And if you like, you can log your food, water and sleep and more.

Also to stay active without having to go to the gym and increase your activity without having to work out. There are a plethora of ideas in a kindle book I recently published. Whatever You Do, Don't Workout - Stay Fit by Learning How to Exercise and Not Know It. Much of this is how I stay active without having to make time for exercise.
