Can you do the HCG diet for shorter period of time

by Anonymous

Terri's Comments: Hi, I am not sure what exactly you mean by "shorter period of time" but will try to answer what you are asking.

Most people hear that the HCG diet program is to be done for 23 or 45 days. This is based on Simeons research using injections and is the protocol most will follow with the prescription HCG.

You can certainly do it for less than 23 days but just make sure that you go on the maintenance protocol after you lost the weight you have wanted to, especially if you don’t need to lose any more weight. By going on maintenance, you will be sure to keep off the weight that you got rid of.

If you are to use the homeopathic drops as I did, you can stay on it as long as your body continues to lose weight at the same pace.

For instance, my average weight loss based on the first couple of weeks was 5 pounds a week.

Once I dropped lower than 5 pounds per week, I went on the maintenance plan until I was ready to start up again to get to my goal. Its best to go off for at least 21 days to get the HCG out of your system before starting back on the protocol..if you do plan to go back on it.

Going on the HCG diet program was one of the best things I ever did for my health.

I feel great, have lots of energy but most importantly I got my weight and diet under control to ward off many common age related health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.

I have heard and did the same for the three days. The weight that you will stabilize at is the weight on the date you take your last dose. I enjoy a low carb lifestyle and continued to lose in phase 3.
